JOB SUMMARY

The position is a senior management level position responsible for devising strategies, formulating policies and oversees the upkeep and continued operational of the company’s facilities and equipment. The position ensures seamless infrastructure operations and requires a balance between hands-on technical knowledge and administrative acumen to support overall productivity and efficiency of the organization.

REPORTING TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Developing and implementing operational policies, standards, and procedures for the organization;
  • Co-ordinating and manage multiple sections towards achieving operational objectives;
  • Ensuring that all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way;
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices;
  • Formulating strategic and operational objectives and tracking progress towards achieving those objectives;
  • Examining financial data and use them to improve profitability;
  • Performing quality controls and monitor production KPIs;
  • Ensuring operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget;
  • Ensuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Addressing operational issues and working to solve them in an effective and timely manner;
  • Overseeing the scheduling, planning, and execution of all maintenance and repair work, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
  • Liaising with external contractors and service providers, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and contractual agreements;
  • Implementing energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact; and
  • Conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 School Certificate;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical or Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical or Electro/Mechanical;
  • Minimum Experience of Ten (10) years; and at least 5 years at Head or Director Operations and Maintenance or similar level;
  • Knowledge of working with high voltage;
  • Project planning, implementation and monitoring;
  • Strategic planning;
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial and strategic planning;
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skill;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and Registered Engineer (REng); and
  • Demonstratable project management and organisation skills will be an added advantage.

  • JOB SUMMARY

    The position of Business Analyst and Risk Manager is a middle management level position responsible for managing business risk as well as the company’s investment portfolio in line with strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

    REPORTING TO: HEAD FINANCE & INVESTMENT
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business;
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas forimprovement, and developing and implementing solutions;
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Offering commentary on observations and ensure high quality standard of Company business performance;
  • Offering expert advice on strategy and policy in line with risk and business goals of the Company;
  • Determining risks and opportunities within portfolio processes and strategy;
  • Conducting investment appraisals on all Corporate Projects and advise Corporate Management on best strategy;
  • Ensuring adequate portfolio risk transfer;
  • Overseeing portfolio performance against KPI targets and analyze data and trends;
  • Identifying problems, opportunities and deviations and conduct risk versus return analysis; and
  • Setting up and fostering relationships with business stakeholders

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 School Certificate;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field from a recognized institution;
  • Chartered Financial Analyst professional qualification is an added advantage;
  • Must have 8+ years of relevant experience in public or private institution;
  • Must have complete working knowledge of international standards and best practices;
  • Proficient in the use of MS office and;
  • Must be prepared to undertake further development in Risk Management and leadership skills

  • JOB SUMMARY

    The position of Senior Engineer ICT is a middle management level position responsible for planning, directing and controlling the ICT activities of the Corporation and ensuring that the ICT infrastructure and operations are monitored and protected against any threats.

    REPORTING TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Developing and implementing ICT policy and best practice guidelines for the organization;
  • Managing information technology and computer systems;
  • Planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve all computer related issues such as hardware and software problems, network incidents and user access problems;
  • Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures;
  • Conducting regular checks on network and data security;
  • Ensuring security of data, network access and backup systems;
  • Managing and responding to hardware or software malfunctions and arranging replacements or repairs;
  • Conducting regular system audits and software performance testing;
  • Acting in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy;
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems;
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages;
  • Auditing systems and assessing their outcomes;
  • Preserving assets, information security and control structures; and
  • Handling annual budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) credits including Mathematics and English language;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical/Electronic or Telecommunications/ BSc Computer Studies;
  • Minimum Experience of Five (5) years;
  • Knowledge of data management systems, such as Oracle MySQL etc.
  • Deploying, configuring and implementing and maintaining business application systems;
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skill;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ);
  • Certification in cybersecurity will be an added advantage; and

    The position of Administrative Assistant is a non-management level position and the job holder is responsible for ensuring smooth administrative operations at our facility, serving as the primary point of contact for visitors and providing support to various departments in line with strategic goals and objectives of the organization

    REPORTING TO: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • First point of client/ guest contact
  • Receiving and screening of client and phone calls;
  • Receiving and delivering mail to the right offices and departments;
  • Recording of incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Photocopying, scanning, printing and binding of documents;
  • Filing of documents;
  • Assisting in organizing appointments and meetings;
  • Co-ordinating activities for maintenance suppliers, contractors; and
  • Generating works/maintenance orders.
  • Develop and implement social media content calendars.
  • Create engaging social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Monitor online reviews and comments.
  • Develop and maintain media contact lists.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) credits including Mathematics and English language;
  • Diploma in Secretarial, Business Administration or Customer Services oriented training
  • At least 3 years’ experience as Receptionist, Secretary or Office administrator
  • Knowledge of Computer skills preferably Word and Excel
